COPEHU community
COPEHU is present in different countries through study teams and communities of intentional learning that research, produce, develop and re-create the proposal in their own contexts.
These teams and/or communities organize themselves collaboratively, fostering exchange, collective construction and coherence in their processes.
How we organize ourselves
At COPEHU, we organize ourselves in a horizontal, flexible and distributed way.
Horizontality implies that all members have a voice and the capacity to participate in the group's decisions and actions, fostering co-responsibility and shared leadership. Flexibility, in turn, allows the organization to be adapted to the needs and circumstances that may arise, avoiding rigidity and facilitating an agile response to changes. Finally, the distribution of tasks, roles and team decisions is carried out in a decentralized way, promoting collaboration and mutual support among members, and ensuring that no person or group monopolizes functions or power exclusively.
The organization is at the service of meaning and of pedagogical action.
How we decide
At COPEHU, decision-making is carried out collectively, procedurally, through agreements and through convergence. Decisions are built in community, always seeking a solution acceptable to all members.
The decision process is grounded in the joint work of those who are active and in active listening to the different perspectives present in the group. It is considered essential to take into account the different contexts and realities of the participants, thus promoting genuine respect for the diversity of opinions.
The priority is to avoid both the imposition of a single vision and the paralysis derived from the lack of consensus. For this reason, we work until reaching agreements that allow us to move forward, ensuring inclusive decision-making that is representative of the collective.
We prioritize decisions that care for the meaning of the proposal and the process of the "we".
